And the Winner for our All For Books Contest is…

All For Books Contest Winners

All For Books Contest

The All For Books contest has wrapped and our donations grand total is $164.59 (including lots of pennies…!). Grades K-8 participated and the overall winner was our first-grade class who brought in $50.82. Teachers and students in that class will enjoy a pizza lunch to celebrate their hard work!

Thank you to all families who participated in this fund-raising initiative in the spirit of Christian love!

One student truly demonstrated his understanding of putting others first by emptying his pockets as he said to his teacher:

“This is all I have… I’m sorry I can’t give more.”

Know that your monetary gifts will help our school purchase books to grow our classroom libraries as well as support the Red Cross efforts to assist hurricane victims in Houston, Puerto Rico, and locally through Scholastic’s matching donation program.

I look forward to seeing all of you at our upcoming PCPS Scholastic Book Fair Preview Nov. 9th, 8:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and Shopping Days from Monday, November 13th-Friday, November 17th, 8:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Remember to visit our Family Shopping Night on Tuesday, November 14th, 3:30-5:00 p.m. for some great buys and holiday gift ideas!

God bless and thank you again for your generosity!

Sincerely,
Mrs. Heggi
